Hold Someone's Hand Ministry was born out of a deep conviction — that the Gospel is not only spoken, it is lived. We go where the need is, bring what is lacking, and share what we have been freely given.
Our name comes from the simple but profound act of reaching out — of not walking past someone who is struggling, but stopping, taking their hand, and walking with them. That is what Christ calls us to do.
Based in Kampala, Uganda, we serve communities across the country through Gospel preaching, Bible distribution, feeding programs, clothing drives, and prison ministry.
See Our Outreaches
Everything we do flows from the proclamation of Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. The Word precedes the work.
We serve with the love of Christ — not from a distance, but in the dirt, in the prison, in the slum, face to face.
We handle every resource entrusted to us with complete transparency and accountability. Your gift goes where it is needed.
We believe the body of Christ is strongest when it works together. We invite everyone to be part of this mission.
Hold Someone's Hand Ministry — Uganda
The story of this ministry begins with a moment that could not be ignored — a child hungry, a family without hope, and a quiet voice saying: "What will you do about this?" The founder of Hold Someone's Hand Ministry chose to act.
"I realised that the Gospel without hands and feet is incomplete. God sent His Son not just to speak, but to touch, to heal, to feed, to weep. That is our model."
Starting with nothing but faith and a willingness to serve, the ministry grew from a small community feeding in Kampala to regular outreaches across Uganda — reaching prisons, rural schools, hospitals, and the streets.
The founding vision remains unchanged: to hold the hands of the forgotten, the hungry, the lost — and to point every person to the One whose hands bear the scars of love.
Get in TouchHold Someone's Hand Ministry officially began in Kampala, Uganda, with a small team and a big vision rooted in Matthew 25.
Over 100 Bibles distributed to families in rural communities around Mukono District — many receiving God's Word for the first time.
The ministry entered Luzira Prison for the first time, bringing Bibles, prayer, and the Gospel to those behind bars.
Regular feeding programs launched across Kawempe and Nakawa, serving hundreds of meals weekly to the hungry and homeless.
The ministry crossed a major milestone — over 1,000 individuals directly served through outreaches, Bible distributions, and feeding drives.
More outreaches, more partners, more hands — the ministry continues to grow as God opens new doors across Uganda and beyond.
Your prayers, your time, and your giving all make this work possible. Join us as we reach the lost, feed the hungry, and share God's love across Uganda.
